Generate solar power on site — a system your business owns.
Industrial solar: design and construction
IRIS designs and builds rooftop and ground-mounted solar plants around your electricity demand, available space and site constraints, then connects them to your facility and the grid. In industry terms: engineering, procurement and construction (EPC).

Who this is for
A clear fit.
Manufacturers who want to own their generating asset outright and need it engineered to a standard a lender or insurer would accept.
Typical applications
- Factory rooftops with daytime production loads
- Ground-mounted arrays on spare industrial land
- Multi-building sites that need one coordinated system
- Medium-voltage (MV) or low-voltage (LV) grid connection
What IRIS delivers
Scope, ownership and commercial terms.
Delivery scope
- Load analysis, yield and structural studies
- Detailed engineering and permitting
- Procurement of Tier-1 modules, inverters and balance of plant
- Construction on operating sites, sequenced around production
- MV/LV interconnection and protection studies
- Commissioning and performance verification
Who owns and operates
- Ownership
- Your business owns the system.
- Operation
- IRIS can operate and maintain it under a separate agreement, or hand over to your team.
Commercial considerations
Your business funds the system and takes the generation benefit directly. An operations and maintenance scope can be agreed alongside the build so that performance responsibility is clear from day one.

Common questions
What clients ask first.
What do you need for an initial assessment?
Your site location, roughly how much electricity you use and when, and what roof or land is available. Bills and a load profile help but are not required to start.
How is construction planned around production?
Work is sequenced by roof zone and shift pattern, with electrical tie-ins scheduled for agreed maintenance windows. Lotustex was built on a factory that kept producing throughout.
Does the system supply power during a grid outage?
A standard grid-connected solar plant shuts down when the grid is lost, for safety. Supplying power through an outage needs storage or dispatchable generation and controls — see storage and hybrid systems.
Let’s discuss your facility.
Tell us where your site is and what you want to achieve. If you have electricity bills or a load profile available, they help the assessment — you can start the conversation without them.
