IRIS for Renewable Energy

About IRIS

Engineering, development and operations under one roof.

IRIS is an Egyptian energy developer and engineering contractor focused on industrial energy infrastructure. Our work brings together system design, construction, commercial structuring and long-term operations.

How we work

Contractor and developer.

IRIS works in two ways, and often both on one project.

As an engineering contractor

We design and build industrial energy systems that your business owns — from load analysis and design through procurement, construction and grid connection, to the standards lenders and insurers accept.

Industrial solar →

As an energy developer

We develop, finance, own and operate on-site energy systems — solar, storage and hybrid generation — and supply the electricity to your business under a long-term agreement.

Power purchase agreements →

Mission

To give industrial operators predictable, long-term energy outcomes through systems designed against real load profiles, financed against real cash flows and operated against real performance guarantees.

Vision

To be the reference developer for industrial energy infrastructure in Egypt — measured by bankability, execution and long-term operation.

Leadership

Engineering is only half the discipline.

For Egyptian industry, energy has moved from a utility line to a strategic exposure: tariffs follow policy, fuel follows markets and currency moves through both. IRIS was built to answer that exposure as developers, not vendors.

Every system we deliver begins with a load profile and a balance sheet, and ends with a contracted, operated asset whose performance we stand behind. Engineering, capital structure and operations are one discipline here, not three departments.

“The future of energy will be defined by those who can combine technical excellence with long-term strategic thinking.”
